Like a fresh, green spring that transitions into the dry skies of high summer. This natural dichotomy presents itself as a harvest that invokes wondernment and pleasantly surprises with maturity.
Serve between 8°C and 10°C.
When Pinotage is grown on the foothills of the Breedekloof (Broad Valley) the soil gives the wine a distinct red cherry aroma. By fermenting the wine slowly and at cool temperatures we create a soft, almost creamy mouth feel and lots of cherry, ripe plum with hints of chocolate and a tiny mocha zing on the finish - very balanced and moreish.
Hymn to Syrah, this wine is like its terroir: unique, deep, solar in its concentration, opulent in its structure, vertical from heaven to earth, on a long saline finish. Perfect with lamb or Cantal cheese.
