Known as the «king of wines and wine of kings», Barolo is the Nebbiolo-based wine par excellence. Borgo Lame "San Roc" is an energetic and prestigious Barolo. The color is an intense garnet red, while the elegant bouquet balances the powerful tannins and brisk acidity of the palate. It showcases notes of violet, cassis, wild rose, cinnamon, anise, leather, and goudron. You can also find reminiscences of the Langhe region, such as truffles, dried mushrooms, and hazelnuts. The palate is warm, dry, earthy, and full.
Aromas of bright cassis and blue berry are supported by plum, black olive, fresh tobacco leaf, bell pepper, and cocoa notes. The palate is complex and velvety with the fruit and savoury notes balanced with a seamless finish and integrated French oak.
This wine has aromas of intense grapefruit and nectarines with hints of citrus blossom and subtle oak nuances. The palate displays a concentration of citrus and stone fruit with a touch of creaminess and a nutty texture due to partial malolactic fermentation and bâtonnage. The wine is effortlessly mouth filling with a delicate balance of fruit and acidity and a long lingering finish, lasting well after drinking. A wine of both power and finesse, it is well suited to rich poultry or creamy shellfish dishes with sautéed vegetables. This wine will develop further complexity in bottle over the next five years.
This wine displays vibrant blackberries, currants, and subtle spicy aromas. The palate displays flavours of dark fruits, spice and savouriness which persist through to a long, dry finish. It is a medium bodied, cool climate style shiraz of both power and complexity, with silky tannins and a refined delicacy. A shiraz to be enjoyed with fine food and friends.

Another beautiful vintage in a long line of wonderful Rieslings from Duke's Vineyard. From a cooler vintage but with all the power, drive and grace you have come to expect. The '22 is a many-layered blend of the depth of the older block with the complexity of the young block. Lovely fruit/acid balance. Very pale straw, flinty green hues; aromas of lime zest, Meyer lemon, lemon sherbet, hints of cucumber and green melon; palate of lemon and lime, hints of white citrus blossom, soft powdery textural acidity, long, mineral, elegant. Very expressive nose of morello cherry and brown tobacco, with sweet notes of liquorice candy and peony. A complex palate, expressing violet and fresh blackcurrant, nishing with hints of thyme and a touch of bitter orange zest that gives the nish a gourmet taste. It is a sensual and charming, yet restrained Saint-Estephe. Silky, smooth tannins give this Pez 2018 a precise and rened length.

2018 is vibrant from the first nose thanks to its brilliant fruit. An aromatic explosion that mingles aromas of cherries with delicious notes of marzipan ... Minty notes of cedar and rose provide a burst of freshness. Carried by this ethereal balance, the wine then reveals its depth and density. It is full-blooded and full-bodied, yet always elegant. The palate is broad, the tannins refined and silky. It possesses the delectable tangy sweetness of a Bakewell tart. This 2018 shows all the power and grace of a prima ballerina, lost in her art.
A pale, golden colour. Tropical fruit aromas (lychee, pineapple) with hints of crème pâtissière and brioche. Fresh but complex on the palate, combining minerality and caramelised pineapple. Great as an aperitif, white meats and noble fish.
