Aging
Our Amarone ages for 1 year and a half in Slovenian barrels of 30hl, big ones, where the Amarone was – and still is in some traditional wineries as ours - traditionally aged since its origin in Verona. After that, it is transferred back to stainless steel tanks for 2 and a half months and then it continues ageing in the bottle for 1 year. This confers to the wine the fruitiness and dried fruits aromas, so no more wood influence.
