Intense and shiny cherry-red colour. On the nose it blooms pleasant ripe red fruit aromas, sweet spices (liquorice). It has very elegant and integrated wooden notes that do not cover its intense fruitiness. It is well-balanced, fresh, with elegant soft tannins and good acidity. Long and very well structured.

"Las Gruesas" "El Pozuelo" The grapes used for this wine are from two different vineyards with an average age of over 50 years old. In both vineyards the vines are planted in bushes.<br> <br> ·Weather: extreme differences in temperature from winter to summer and endure the long periods of drought<br> ·Soil: lime bearing, and the subsoil is thick with a high carbonate content<br> ·Grape: Monastrell, is red wine grape variety that is grown in many regions around the world, tends to produce tannic wines that can be high in alcohol. The variety can be a difficult grape to grow, preferring "its face in the hot sun and its feet in the water".
