Fine dry wine made from crisp, healthy greenish-yellow grapes. Slow, cool fermentation. Lively and fresh Riesling with "crunchy" fruit and refreshing well balanced acidity. Vineyard Info

Our family has made wine for 400 years and our wine tradition dates back to the 17th century. Our steep slopes produce Riesling wines of top quality, grown in harmony with Nature, entailing lots of time-consuming manual labor, and it is these values we seek to preserve. Our wines are timeless, just like our vineyards. Our wines are made by individualists for individualists, produced by progressive traditionalists for people who are passionate about wine, and who understand and cherish the value of heritage.

This wine comes from our three Zeltinger sites: Himmelreich, Schlossberg and Sonnenuhr but mostly from Zeltinger Himmelreich. The vineyard's soil is rocky, mineralic slate soil with some loam.
