Vineyard Info

Chateau de Montgueret is located in the Loire Valley, in the Layon area. The vineyard is currently owned by the Sauvion family (4th generation winegrowers and winemakers) who take pride in calling themselves "Pleasure Makers" as their philosphy is to bring statisfaction and enjoyment with their various cuvees! The Chateau de Montgueret Rose d'Anjou terroir is made of clay shale, an estate over 120 hectares in the commune of Nueil-sur-Layon whose vines are spread over four communes in southern Saumurois , producing the AOCs Saumur, Anjou and Coteaux de Layon.
