OCEAN BAY Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from selected vineyards located in New Zealand’s famous Marlborough region, which is ideally suited to this varietal. The soil is composed of volcanic Greywacke stones and alluvial river silt. 2018 was an excellent year. A hotter than usual summer allowed us to harvest the grapes in pristine conditions resulting in concentrated wines. The Harvest commenced late March and continued into April.
Innovative inemaking has produced a lively and intense wine bursting with flavours of gooseberry, thyme, passionfruit and citrus.

The grapes were gently pressed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation is conducted at low temperatures (12-14˚C) to retain the wines strong and appealing aromatics.
