MOMO - Marlborough Pinot Noir - New Zealand

Pale cranberry red in colour, with a nose that is floral, spicy, fruity and earthy, with herbal characters and hints of cedar, white pepper and mushroom. The wine is dry, subtle and refreshing. The focused palate is concentrated with succulent dark fruits layered over smoky oak and fine light and smooth tannins. Well balanced. Medium to full body.

We farm biodynamically. This means we work in harmony with seasonal, earthy and celestial rhythms. Our wines therefore express a sense of time, with wines from each harvest subtly different from its predecessor.

We keep the vines healthy by feeding the soil with animal manure composts, and spraying the vine leaves with teas made from local herbs and minerals.

We put more back into the land than we take out. As a result, our wines express an ever stronger sense of place.

We see the vineyard as a living organism, a space that our workers, animals and wild birds, flowers, worms and insects can share. Our wines express this sense of life and harmony.

Label Notes:

Momo is a sibling of the Seresin Family of wines. Grapes from two of Seresin's vineyards were hand picked and hand sorted and naturally fermented with wild yeast. The wine was aged in old French oak barriques for 11 months, then lightly filtered before bottling. A refined Marlborough Pinot Noir with texture and depth.
