Laurus means “Laurel” in Latin, a Roman symbol of excellence. Here excellence is all about “terroir”: the grapes are grown on plots selected for their ability to express the very best of each Appellation.
«Terroir» encompasses a soil, a climate and people; expressed here through historical partnerships with wine-growers who share our commitment to produce complex wines with character and ageing potential. 2015 vintage: This high quality vintage produced here a remarkable, rich and fruity cuvée (currant, black raspberry). 100% Syrah grapes from the eastern sector of the Hermitage hill, on alluvial terraces at 200m in altitude (length and freshness). Harvest started on Sept. 11th 2015. Matured 14 months in 275lt Laurus barrels. Bottled on June 16th, 2017. 1,874 bottles, 191 magnums and 42 jeroboams produced.
