CHÂTEAU PEYREDON LA GRAVETTE - Magnum - Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois, Bordeaux - France
Chateau Peyredon Lagravette Magnum - Haut Medoc Cru Bourgeois, Bordeaux - France
Nice ruby-crimson color with bright shades. The wine offers a stunning aromatic complexity. It exudes fragrances of small berries, with hints of mulberries and blackberries. All roundness, rich and deep, perfectly well-balanced, it reveals melted and classy tannins. The finish is silky and lingering, definitely a great wine.

Critique Review
Dark cherries, currants and plums on the nose. Notes of red bell pepper and some spices, too. It’s medium-to full-bodied with a juicy texture, combined with grippy tannins and a clean, salivating finale. Better after 2023.

Vineyard Info
Château Peyredon Lagravette is the Story of two families. In order to develop our selection of very high quality terroir and after 2 Years of research in the Medoc region, we fell in love with Château Peyredon Lagravette owned by the family Hostein over two centuries.
Paul Hostein the previous owner, developed it as a must-have of the appellation Haut-Medoc, in order to be classified as a Cru Bourgeois in 1932 and of course in 2003! Well situated in the Champs de Medrac, this spot is on the famous « hill top of Grand Poujeaux »very well-known for the exceptional quality of his soil named « Graves de Gunz ». This very warm and dry soil is perfect for a long and slow ripening and maturating. This small estate of 4,2 Ha is located just in the middle of our prestigeous neightbour as château Poujeaux, Chasse Spleen and Maucaillou. Respect the past, create the future, share with us the source of our Passion.
