Intense and beautiful straw colour, fine bubbles and persistent mousse. Floral notes of white flowers. Fresh lime, peach and exotic fruits. This wine is fresh and frank, with a great balance of acidity. With hints of warm biscuit and nutty aromas. Full flavoured, with a satisfyingly long, smooth and persistent finish. A wonderful Champagne for any special occasion. Vintage in image may vary. Refer to wine facts for current vintage.
First winemakers of Champagne. Of the 319 villages, or crus, they are present in 52 of them. This is a considerable advantage for both the diversity of soils but also to ensure the authenticity of the house and continuity of style of Ernest Rapeneau.
Ernest Rapeneau founded his champagne and wine business in 1901 in the village of Hautvillers, the cradle of champagne. However, it was not until 1927, when the viticultural boundaries of Champagne were fixed, that Ernest began to specialise in the champagne trade.
