VINEYARD

Several families have succeeded as the managers of the domaine. The Paux-Rosset family is now going to definitively orientate the vineyard towards qualitative production. The cultural method has been modified and the vines have been entirely replanted with new grape varieties. The neighbouring domain Boède has been acquired on a leasing agreement “fermage”.

Label Notes:

"Chateau Rigaud's 2013 Faugeres that does everything right. Perfumed and complex, with lots of black raspberry, licorice, sweet oak and hints of violets, it's medium to full-bodied, rich, tetured and layered, with striking purity of fruit. This really shows the purity and freshness that's common in the vintage, and it should drink well for another 5 - 8 years."
