VINEYARD

Château Miqueu is located in the commune of Vertheuil in the North Médoc, between Pauillac and Lesparre-Médoc, on the same terroir than many prestigious classified growths. The Ferré family is the owner of Château Miqueu for five generations. Charles Ferré is enamoured of the quality. He focuses on producting an expressive and qualitative Haut-Médoc wine, with well-distinguished Cabernet notes. Each family member takes on a share of the creation of this wine, vintage after vintage, from the vines to the final blend, passing by the meticuloussorting of grapes.

At Château Miqueu, we commit everyday for the respect of our terroir and to produce authentique wines. The very special selection brought to each vintage offers decicate and constant ready to drink wines. This vintage shows a dark color with nice bright and lively reflects. Intense nose of ripe black fruits, lightly toasted. The attack is all in elegance the attack, and relievs by slightly grilled notes. Beautiful meaty on the mid-palate that reveals the ripe tannin . The final is full and finesse on blackberry and blackcurrant. . Serve at 18-20° and keep the bottle laid and sheltered from the light. The natural evolution of the wine can cause a light sedimentation which does not harm its tasting qualities.
