CHAMPAGNE ERNEST RAPENEAU - BRUT LIMITED EDITION - ROOSTER - Champagne, FRANCE

Directly issued from a great "Terroir" in the French town of Epernay.
A very elegant Champagne wine, thanks to the high level of craftsmanship brought by our winemaker to successfully blend the Chardonnay and Pinots grapes in its best expression.
This Champagne has a traditionl "assemblage" of: 50% Pinot Noir, 45% Chardonnay, 5% Pinot Meunier. Different villages have been carefully selected to create this Cuvee.
Aspect: Intense and nice straw colour, fine bubbles, persistent mousse.
Nose: Floral notes (white flowers), fresh lime and exotic fruits.
Mouth: This wine is fresh and frank. With hints of warm biscuit and Nuts aromas.
This wine is well-balanced with a long finish.

Product Description

First winemakers of Champagne. Of the 319 villages, or crus, they are present in 52 of them. This is a considerable advantage for both the diversity of soils but also to ensure the authenticity of the house and continuity of style of Ernest Rapeneau. Ernest Rapeneau founded his champagne and wine business in 1901 in the village of Hautvillers, the cradle of champagne. However, it was not until 1927, when the viticultural boundaries of Champagne were fixed, that Ernest began to specialise in the champagne trade.
