Vineyard Info

Domaines FABRE are made of family-owned estates in Haut-Medoc, passed down from generation to generation. Our family and children concentrate all our efforts to offer you high-class wines from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. We take into account eco-friendly practises and sustainable development. We are directly in charge of wine growing, vinification, ageing, bottling and direct sales in France and abroad.

In Medoc, very few estates are able to perform all these steps. Created in 1988, the Vieilles Vignes (old wines) cuvee of Château LAMOTHE-CISSAC is produced only in the years with favourable weather allowing us to extract the power and concentration specific to our terroir. The goal is to vinify a great wine with a good aging potential. The 10 ha vineyard soils has deep gravels in majority with clayey limestone in some areas. On average, vines are 65 yrs old, the oldest are over 70 meaning we have low yields.
