Critique Review
"Tasted at a negociant, the Gloria"10 has a well-defined bouquet, very precise with ripe blackberry, raspberry, cedar and graphite. Good intensity, very crisp and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with chalky tannins, very good acidity, reserved and focused with a very powerful finish of blackberry, graphite and tobacco. Long in the mouth, this is a great Glora for long-term ageing. Tasted in April 2011" The Wine Advocate.

Vineyard Info
The establishment of the Château Gloria vineyard, located in the commune of Saint-Julien de Beychevelle has been born from nothingness by Henri Martin, over several years, by the purchase of plots of land exclusively from neighbouring classified growths in 1855. Plot by plot, patiently and systematically he negotiated with his fellow owners in the Saint-Julien commune the purchase of the "Crus Classés" land that would make up Château Gloria vineyard. Château Gloria would be his life's work. This Château produces Grands Vins for more than 30 years. The best cares make several of its vintages as good as Crus Classés wines.
