Product Description
The historic Château Rauzan Ségla in the appellation of Margaux dates to the reign of Louis XIV. With renovation of the vineyard and careful attention paid to the soil and vines, the owners have revived this ancient Second Classified Growth and renewed the potential of this powerful wine.
The vineyard consists of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and a small percentage of Petit Verdot. This superb Margaux is typical of the appellation and offers a bouquet of violets, red fruits and subtle oak with elegant tannins.
