Product Description
Château Larcis Ducasse, promoted 1st Classified Growth of Saint-Emilion in 2012, is owned by the Gratiot-Attmane family since 1893. Since 2002 the property has been under the management of Nicolas Thienpont. Along with consultants, Stéphane Derenoncourt and Julien Lavenu, Nicolas Thienpont continues the efforts made up until now to enhance the quality of the wines of the property.
He undertook a detailed study of the terroirs of the vineyard, implemented important renovations both in the vines and in the cellars and built up a strong team around him. Aware of the potential of the terroir of Larcis Ducasse and aided by his right hand man, David Suire, he uses traditional methods in tandem with innovation in order to unlock the greatness of this terroir.
