Vineyard Info

Cantina Orsogna was settled in 1964 as a local growers cooperative and it constantly grew over the years. Today it counts 500 partners and a total vine surface of 1,100 hectares. The winery is located in Abruzzo region in the municipality of Orsogna at 450 m. a.s.l., half way between Majella national park and Adriatic sea. This beneficial position guarantees quality and healthy grapes, in fact 80 % of the production is certified organic and 40% is also certified biodynamic from Demeter. Over the years the winery became the largest producer of organic and biodynamic wines in south center Italy.

The COSTE DI MORO Montepulciano is grown partly in pergola Abruzzese and partly in Guyot structure at an altitude between 300 and 450 m a.s.l.
